Blog Entry

I have come to understand a very simple truth, that when I take care of God’s business, He takes care of mine.  The Bible teaches that if I seek the Kingdom of God (God’s active reign, Gold’s dominion, sovereignty, power and preeminence), the earthly things I tend to concern myself with on a daily basis will automatically be given to me.  If I seek to advance the Kingdom of God I can expect His favor over my life.  As we all know, the one thing that is of paramount importance to God is ministering to and taking care of the poor and disenfranchised, and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.  I don’t believe there has ever been a greater or more significant time and opportunity for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ than right now.  Jesus said, “the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few.”  People are confused and desperate for answers and the answers they need, we have in Jesus Christ.  It is interesting to note that many times before Jesus saved an individual, He would meet an immediate need they would have e.g. healing them from sickness and disease, or feeding them, etc.

It is natural as well as a biblical principle that when you sow seeds you can expect a harvest.  According to Galatians 6:7-9; God will cause a harvest to come from the seeds you sow.  Your harvest will be in exact proportion to the seeds you sow.  God said you would reap in due season, but you cannot have a ‘season’ if you have not sown anything.  As a Church, we must be committed to sowing the seeds of the Gospel, good deeds, and love in our community, with the expectation of reaping an unprecedented harvest.  Give God a reason to bless you by sowing into the Kingdom of God with your gifts, talents, abilities, time and goodness.

How to reach the masses for an answer Jesus gave the key, he said if I be lifted up I will draw all men and women unto me.  Lets lift Jesus up in this very dark world, until people desire Jesus over anything else.  Now is the time!  The Bible says it is not the will of God that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance and be saved. The ball is in your court, what are you going to do with it?  Now is the time!
